A new chapter: Reimagining Support for Neurodivergent Families
A New Chapter: Supporting Neurodivergent Lives with Flow and Ease
For months, I’ve been reflecting on my journey with Brilliant Little Gems. While I’ve loved supporting schools, parents, and allied health professionals with practical tools—like writing reports, navigating complex systems, adapting resources, and helping families through crises—something deeper has been calling to me.
I’ve felt an inner conflict: the work I’ve been doing is important, but I’ve also been pulled toward something bigger.
This isn’t just about providing solutions for challenges. It’s about radically transforming how neurodivergent families and practitioners experience life—not by trying to fix ourselves, but by creating environments, connections, and lifestyles that truly honour and uplift us.
The truth is, we don’t need more therapies or strategies to fit into a neuro-normative world. What we do need are spaces that validate, affirm, and celebrate our unique ways of being.
So, I’m taking a step forward in alignment with this vision. Brilliant Little Gems is evolving into Sarah Middleton - Neuroaffirming Mentor & Educator.
What Does This Mean?
My focus is shifting to supporting neurodivergent (or neuro-questioning) mothers and practitioners to experience more flow, ease, and connection in work, home, and family life.
Through a blend of coaching, somatic inquiry, social work, critical systems analysis, and practical education, I’ll help you discover what’s possible when we embrace our wholeness instead of striving to overcome perceived deficits.
Together, We’ll Create Space For:
Deeper compassion and connection with yourself and your children or clients.
Healing from neurodivergent trauma—years of masking, burnout, and unmet needs.
Rediscovering your energy to focus on the things that truly light you up.
Most importantly, this journey will help you feel safe doing less and being more.
What’s Next?
For those already working with me, rest assured that nothing is changing in the support you currently receive—that will continue as it is; unless you would prefer to make this shift in our work together.
For everyone else, I invite you to join me in this new chapter. Let’s reimagine what it means to live and work as neurodivergent individuals.
This shift is about creating a world where we’re not just surviving—but thriving. And I can’t wait to walk this path alongside you.
